Build Error for iOS , unable to build game .

I am trying to build my game for iOS , my game builds for android,pc and linux , where as in iOS it gives the following error. Can someone figure out what actually is happening , i am new to iOS development .

i am trying to record video with microphone sound on, but there is no sound from microphone in the final video.

Code (CSharp):

Trying to understand .xib splash and Unity!?

Hi, I am really hoping that someone can clarify or shed some light on the .xib splash screen feature in Unity.

I have tried to use this feature, which i mean is absolutely perfect, if I just understood it.

Here is how I "think" it is working.

1. I create a new XCode project (singleview), saving it somewhere outside the asset folder, in which I create a new View and calling this splash.xib.

2. I then design the splashscreen as I would like it, importing the images I want,...

Hi,

At the moment I'm trying to setup my game for mobile lighting. I know there are tons of tuts out there on how to set this up. But after watching lots of them they never provide me with the complete detail on how to completely set the Lighting Window and the Directional light. My scene is very basic so it doesn't need any advanced lighting.

These are the settings I use at the moment. My Quality settings Pixel Light Count is set to 1.

Hi Guys,

My application currently makes unity www request to a https url for user authentication and data retrieval. I am building this app on iOS and while submitting it for review it is asking me for this apple compliance information. My question is since I do not make a direct https request but do it via unity, do I need to answer yes the apple encryption compliance.

Would appreciate some information regarding this.

I will show you how to include iOS's entitlements file in a Unity project and how to hand it over to Xcode project.
I did this research out of my own need.
I'm using this to automatically add "Associated Domains" to the generated Xcode project.

Like you and many other Unity users, I was somewhat confident in Unity's ability to handle complex things.
So I tried putting a file which has .entitlements as it's extension in a project
just to find out disappointing result that It has no effect....

Is it possible to open an app-local file with another app? Is there any asset out there that will help me?

A file is created runtime that I want the user to open in another program (default or by choice of the user). For instance a .pdf/.docx that I want the user to open in adobe, office or whatever program he chooses.
(no, I dont want the user seeing the contents inside Unity, so a parser is not an option)

Calling Application.OpenURL(Application.persistentDataPath + "/<filename>") gives...

Hi,

All my games lag when I'm loading ads.

In my native apps, it's ok.

But on Unity, the frame rate drop down during few minutes...

Is there anybody who know how to handle this issue ?

(tested with chartboost, admob, iAd, unity ads).

Quick question. I just tried building to iPhone. So I opened the project in Xcode, and I noticed I'm unable to run the app in iPhone Simulator (only iOS Device is selectable). Why is this? How can I configure it? I've been looking through the project and build settings like crazy w/o finding anything. I don't have an iPhone so I cannot test on it. I really wanted to just try running it on the iPhone simulator for the lulz.

Hi,
I'm trying to get a Unity project onto my iPhone. I went to Build Settings and tried to switch the project to the iOS platform, but it says there is no iOS module loaded. I opened the Unity Download Assistant and tried to download only the iOS Build Support, but I got an error.

"An error occurred while running scripts from the package “UnitySetup-iOS-Support-for-Editor-5.3.4f1.pkg”."

What is "Metal Restricted backbuffer Use" doing and should it be on?

All the manual says is:
Allow improved performance in non-default device orientation. This sets the frameBufferOnly flag on the back buffer, which prevents readback from the back buffer but enables some driver optimization

Which sounds good, but if it's an option I assume it could cause issues, but what are they likely to be?

Hi there,

I have quite a problem while trying to build my project and open it in XCode.
Strangely, when It builds I see no version number nor version code, and the bundle package name, instead of com.oakshiro.mygame is changed to com.unity3d.mygame.

I suspected this is why I got a constant 22421 error while trying to upload it to the app store, so I investigated further in Unity itself.

It just happens that, even though the xcode project is created, this exception appears in the log:...

I'm trying to use OneSignal on IOS.
I'm using Unity 5.6.3 and OneSignal 2.7.1
If I compile my project with developer provisioning and run it on my device, it works.
When I change the provisioning to distribution and try to archive the project, it give me this error:

It appears there might be a problem with the latest ios installation for 2018.1.0b9. I have tried downloading and installing the package multiple times on my macbook pro (2013) without avail. Here is a screenshot

Has anyone else run across this issue:
I'm currently using this method to stream in audio clips at run-time to play in the UI

This works perfectly fine on iPad air, iPad mini 2 and iPad Pro but not on iPhone 7 or iPad mini 3

Is there any work around for this, I've reported a bug for 2018.1 but the issue seems to be there all the way back in Unity 5.6

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone has seen this issue in Unity 2017.1.2. When UnityWebRequest gets essentially a 401 response on iOS, NSURLConnection errors with a -1012 error code. However, when it gets reported to Unity, the response code is 0 and the error is "Unknown Error".

My understanding is that when authentication is "cancelled" (or in this case, the incorrect credentials have been submitted), there is no response and thus it makes sense that the code is 0. However, why is the...
