What is the iOS equivalent of Androids 'Internet Access -> Required'

I'm trying to get my ios player settings right and I see that in ios the only option regarding internet is 'requires persistent Wifi'. But I don't require persistent Wifi, I just require internet access, I dont care if its over Wifi or not.

Is it just always the case with ios apps that you always get Internet access permission?
