We're currently working on a project which has 100+ bundles.
They are all quite small - 50mb total. All bundles are packed in atlases, which are then compressed using pvrtc.
All bundles are downloaded in one scene (in the main menu) and most of them are then immediately unloaded as they are not needed at that point - the reason for downloading them all at once is to allow the app to run in offline mode later on.
Now to the actual point of this thread..
